Time is money
The aim of all our efforts in manufacturing today is to reduce wasteful time. Common area of neglect is accessories for material handling. We all stop after investing in a crane be it an E.O.T. or a mobile carne. The most common practice is to use wire ropes and slings to anchor the materials to be lifted. This is time consuming and with increasing labor cost a very expensive process. The safety of such primitive anchoring devices is also debatable. On very soft steel, finished components, laminations etc, ropes cause damage and extra precaution has to be taken which in turn means more time and hence more money.
e-LIFT, our range of magnetic anchoring devices, commonly known as magnetic lifters are an ideal solution for handling ferrous material. These super light lifters are tested for more than 3 times its rated capacity, which means a 100 Kg certified lifter is tested for a load more than 300 Kg. These lifters are very easy to operate, with a swing of the handle a job weighing 5000 kg can be anchored to a crane. The process is as easy as switching on a bulb. YOU NEED ONLY ONE PERSON TO DO IT.
Our company’s philosophy of lean manufacturing is literally true for our e-LIFT lifters. With the power of high energy NdFeB magnets and a revolutionary manufacturing process, these lifters are less than half the weight of its older generation. These are made of a single piece monolith steel block, making it a very rigid construction.
The comparison between our lifters and the older generation lifters is elaborated below.
|
General lifters in local market available these days are of the following type.
As can be seen, these are made of two separate steel blocks welded/ bolted together.
Is it a safe construction for heavy loads like 1000/ 2000 kg? You be the judge.
Moreover, such construction of the lifter makes servicing difficult.

SARDA e-Lift (100 KGS- 5000KGS)
Our lifters are made from a MONOLITHIC SOLID BLOCK of steel which is machined out, thus having a very ruddeg construction.
With simple sapre parts our lifters are very easy to service.
SOLID magnetic lifters with an ergonomic design.

PERMANENT MAGNETIC SEPARATORS
Nawa Engineers & Consultants (P) Ltd, Hyderabad are among the leading consultants to supply erection and commissioning of plants on turnkey basis for different sectors of industry like Quarry, Mining, Metallurgical, Cement, Chemical, Thermal Power Plants where crushing, screening and bulk handling of various materials are involved.
Crushers, are heart of such projects and very critical. Impurities like tramp iron, steel peices etc. may prove fatal for the crushers if not properly booted out of the system.
Specific requirement of our customer was that the separating system over a conveyor of width 800mm should be able to remove impurities upto 10 kg in weight from an operating height of 250 mm. We provided our Permanent Magnetic Separator(61101) as the solution for separation.
The trials conducted by Nawa at our works are as follows:

BILLET LIFTING AT I-COMM
I-Comm, Hyderabad the leading supplier of telecommunication towers in India had recently commisioned a Rolling mill inside their plant. With requirements of over 10,000 MT of angles and channels per month they had a huge problem of handling billets. We suggested them our EPM Billet Handling system as a solution.
The input conditions of the billtes was not uniform but we overcame these problems with an improved design for EPM systems.
The two magnet system was supplied with a control panel and a cable reeeling drum.

DRILLING MADE EASY AT PAHARPUR
In a world of water shortage and an increasing awareness of water problems, Paharpur Cooling Towers, Kolkata is one of the largest cooling tower manufacturer covering Major industries such as electricity generating, petroleum refining, chemical processing, sugar, air-conditioning and refrigeration, steel and so on. These industries use a vast assortment of cooling towers and air cooled heat exchangers.
With increasing demand and pressure on their present production capacity, Paharpur had installed a new 6000 x 3000 mm Quickmill CNC milling machine.
The new machine solved only half their problems as they lost a considerable time clamping and setting of their jobs. Each job on an average has around 50 holes to be drilled. The diameter of the holes ranging from 15mm to 35mm.
To overcome the problem of loss of time they approached us, we provided them with 4 number of EPSQUARE75, 400 x 300 chuck, which are connected together and spaced to suit the requirement of the job.

LIFT OFF
BHEL, one of the Modern Temples of India, has 7 factories all over India. BHEL, Ramachandrapuram has mastered the art of manufacturing steam turbine engines.
While going for an expansion, BHEL-Hyd, were inclined to include the range of magnetic lifters to easy out the material handling division, and they had tendered for 7 numbers of Permanent Magnetic Lifters for 2000 kg.
Being very particular about the quality of product, they were very concerned with the safety factor of the product.
Having satisfied them both technically and commercially, we hope to do the same in future.
